Open Call for Performers

Who Can Apply

We welcome applications from:

• Ukrainian dance ensembles

• Vocal groups and choirs

• Solo performers (vocalists and instrumentalists)

• Folk groups

• Instrumental ensembles

• Theatre and cultural performance groups

We especially encourage performances that:

• Showcase Ukrainian traditional and contemporary culture

• Reflect the regional cultural identities of Ukraine

• Highlight the friendship between Canada and Ukraine

Selection Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on:

• Artistic quality

• Relevance to Ukrainian cultural themes

• Contribution to a diverse festival program

• Suitability for a family-friendly audience

• Technical feasibility for an outdoor stage

Performance Details

• Selected performers will present a 10–15 minute performance

• Performances will take place on the main outdoor stage

Possible formats include:

• Live music or singing

• Dance performances

• Cultural stage productions

• Performances using recorded music (for dance groups)

Technical Information

The festival will provide:

• Professional sound system

• Microphones

• Basic stage lighting

• Audio playback capability
